How does our storage work?
Once you sign up with blue self storage, you’ll be given your allocated spot for your leisure vehicle so you can keep coming back to the same space. All our customers are given an electronic fob and an accompanying sticker for their window.
When you arrive at the site, simply present your electronic fob to the reader and the barrier will open for you – our security team will be on hand to check your sticker matches your ID.
What about those upkeep services?
Our Cardiff caravan, motorhome and boat storage facility provides a grey & foul water disposal area, so you can easily get rid of each water type on-site. We also offer a jet wash area with platform ladders, vacuum and air facilities. This means you can clean your pride and joy right here on site – no need to go elsewhere!
In addition to this, we also sell Calor gas and other useful items on-site such as jump leads, absorb gel bags and LED lights – just head over to Reception to buy. Simply knock on the Reception door and our friendly team will be happy to let you in.
How about security?
Our customers and their needs are of utmost priority here at blue self storage, so rest assured security is at the top of the list! In fact, our Wentloog (Cardiff) self-storage facility holds a prestigious Platinum CaSSOA award for achieving the highest recognised levels of storage for caravans, boats and motorhomes.
CaSSOA awards four levels of security based on a number of features including CCTV, entry points, perimeter fencing and alarm systems so you can be confident that your leisure vehicle will be kept safe and secure with us!
Alongside our armed patrols with guard dogs, our secure site is safe within alarmed perimeter fencing, and there are manned access gates to gain entry – meaning everyone who enters the site has to show ID.
We also have 24/7 CCTV surveillance for extra peace of mind.
Our Wentloog facility is open 24/7, 365 days a year so you can visit us at any time. We’re on hand during the working day, Monday to Friday between 8:30am – 5pm to answer any questions and try to resolve any issues you may have. We look forward to seeing you around our storage site!
