How do I get to your Wentloog site?
Our Wentloog storage facility is located on Wentloog Avenue in Cardiff, inside Wentloog Corporate Park, close to Capital Business Park.
Once inside Wentloog Corporate Park, take the first left and you’ll find our office. For the most accurate directions to the entrance gate, use the What3Words location: ///study.arrow.bills.
Is your Wentloog site open 24/7?
Yes – you can access your unit at Wentloog 24/7, 365 days a year! (In fact, all our sites are open 24/7). We also have 24/7 security on-site.
Our team work during normal office hours, so to chat to one of our team, the office is open 8.30-5pm, Monday to Friday – contact us.
What security do you have at Wentloog?
Unofficially dubbed the ‘Fort Knox of Cardiff’, our Wentloog site offers a full suite of maximum security measures, including:

How do I sign up at your Wentloog facility?
It’s really simple. You can sign up on our online booking system. Choose Wentloog as your location & secure your unit in minutes. You’ll get a unique access code and you can then access your unit instantly!
If you’d prefer to sign up over the phone, or if you have questions, our friendly team are more than willing to chat.
Can anyone else access my Wentloog unit?
No. Our system is designed so that you’ll receive a unique pin or access code, so you’re the only person who can access your unit.
Our Wentloog site includes mandatory ID checks for all visitors, so you’ll also be checked on your way into the site.
Can I get contents cover for my unit or unit’s belongings?
Of course you can! Contents cover starts at £4 per month for our Wentloog site, covering up to £1000, and all prices include IPT (Insurance Premium Tax). For cover exceeding £25,000 in value, please contact us for a bespoke quote.
Do your Wentloog units have electricity inside?
For safety and energy-saving reasons, our units don’t have electricity inside – but our facility is very well lit after dark for easy accessibility.
How do you take payments?
For all storage types, we take initial signup payments from your card (whether that’s over the phone or using our online booking system), and then your monthly or quarterly charge will be paid by direct debit.
Units and vehicle storage are monthly, whilst caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents are quarterly.
However if you’d prefer to pay for 6 months upfront, that’s no problem – speak to a member of our team.
Your price is locked for 12 months, so no surprise increases!

At our Wentloog site, our staff are happy to show you around a couple of units if you’re undecided – and even if you change your mind, we’ll assist you in switching sizes.
What notice period do I need to give?
We ask that you give us 1 month notice period on Caravans, Motorhomes and any other Vehicles.
For container self-storage, we only require 2 weeks (14days) notice.
Giving notice to vacate is simple; you can either email Info@blueselfstorage.co.uk, call our office on 029 20 361 361 or this fill in this form.
What happens when my contract ends?
After giving notice to vacate, you will receive instructions on what to do next.
We ask that you sweep clean your unit and leave the lock and key inside. You must inform us when the unit is empty by emailing Info@blueselfstorage.co.uk or by phone at 029 20 361 361
If you leave before the notice is up, we will refund you pro rata for the days remaining, via Direct debit (which typically takes 10-14 days)
For Caravans, Motorhomes and trailers, you will need to hand your FOB and ID pass to security when you leave.
