Having opened our Llanishen storage facility on 1st June 2020, we thought it was time to find out what we’re doing well, and where we might improve – so we conducted a customer survey to find out ‘what’s what’.
We asked customers what they thought about blue self storage, and our new Llanishen site specifically. We pride ourselves on our transparency and ‘customers first’ mindset – so here is what you said…
#1 Why did you choose blue self storage?
For this question, location featured strongly in customer responses with 13 of the respondents claiming location was an attributing factor! The next most popular factor was ‘price’.

We’re pleased to report that 7 responses led with the word ‘clean‘; particularly at a time when cleanliness & hygiene is so essential.

100% of respondents said yes, with one customer specifying, “I am 100% happy with the service.”
#4 What do you think would improve the facility?
We’re always eager to hear suggestions and comments from our customers; we’ve taken all the below points on board and are looking at how we can implement them.
- Skip on-site
- Solar panel lighting within the containers
- Communication link between the site and staff (HQ)
- Toilets on site
- Electrical point
- 2 sets of keys
- Gate rather than barrier
