After a successful land purchase, we’ve expanded our facility to offer even more storage solutions for you. This is a huge milestone for us at blue self storage, and we can’t wait to share the details!
More Space, More Units, More Fun!
Our Llanishen facility, nestled in the Ty Glas Industrial Estate in North Cardiff, has grown from three-quarters of an acre to over an acre.This expansion means we now offer 181 self-storage units of various sizes—perfect for whatever you need to store. With a 33% increase in space and a 75% increase in unit capacity, there’s now even more room for everyone!
A Big Thanks to Millgrove North Limited
We couldn’t have done it without the smooth collaboration with Millgrove North Limited. Our Operations Director, Dean Daly, shares, “The additional land has allowed us to reconfigure and optimise the site. This expansion has exceeded our expectations and continues to perform impressively.” Our Managing Director, Chris Bryan, adds, “This acquisition supports our growth objective of adding high-quality assets to our portfolio. Special thanks to the sellers, Millgrove North Limited, for ensuring a seamless transaction.”
Celebrating in Style
We didn’t just expand; we celebrated too! Our site’s 4th birthday coincided with the completion of this expansion, and we marked the occasion with cake and bucks fizz. It’s been an incredible journey, and we’re excited for what’s next!
Supporting Our Community

We provide free storage space to help them manage donations crucial for their fundraising efforts.
