We’re hoping to beat our 2021 record and donate hundreds of Easter eggs for families who need them most!
Our 2021 Easter egg collection campaign saw our eggcellent customers and staff donate over 200 eggs to Cardiff Foodbank – so we’re doing it all over again! And wouldn’t it be amazing if we beat last year’s record?!
This year, we’re collecting for the eggceptional Llanrumney Hall Community Trust and, again, Cardiff Foodbank – both charities do incredible work to feed the communities of our city.
We’re again asking our customers to join in & donate an Easter egg – so when you’re next in the supermarket buying eggs for your family or kids, grab an extra to spread some community love 💙
The eggs will go to families and children who use the Pantry and Foodbank to access essential food and supplies.
How to join in & donate
Simply drop your donated Easter egg into our Reception or leave it with our trusted security team on the entrance gates.
Deadline for donations
The Easter Bunny will be collecting the eggs on 8th April 2022 so get ‘cracking’ – we’re really eggcited to receive them!

Last year’s charity appeal
Our amazing customers and team collected hundreds of eggs in April 2021 – a fantastic achievement in another hard year when lots of us were struggling under the pressures of continuing lockdowns.
Our Storage Co-ordinator Bernie took on the perilous journey across Cardiff – by bike! – to deliver our precious cargo…
…and luckily, she just about made it safely to the Foodbank! Phew! Watch Bernie’s #EggcellentAdventure ↓
Why we collect for local communities
Both our chosen Easter egg charities do incredible work to provide critical food & supplies to local people.
The Llanrumney Hall Community Trust Pantry asks for £5 per visit, and gives families in Llanrumney access to £25-35 worth of goods.
Cardiff Foodbank provides 3 day emergency food supplies to local citizens – between September and December 2020 alone, they delivered 3411 food parcels (2062 adults and 1349 children).
Our commitment to helping local charities is led by the people in our team. All of us will and have been affected by various issues at times, and all of us know what it’s like to see friends, family and loved ones struggle with different matters.
Whether it’s knowing a family struggling to afford bills, losing a friend to cancer, watching a parent deal with an illness, or feeling inspired by a friend battling a mental health issue, the endless reasons to support hard-working charities are all around us.
