When The Caravan Storage Site Owners Association (CaSSOA) introduced a new Platinum accreditation, we felt it was an opportunity to put our facility to the ultimate test, would we be good enough to reach this new high standard!?
We’re so glad we did, as we’re proud to announce we have achieved the highest possible CaSSOA accreditation of Platinum Award – we’re the first Platinum site in Wales.

We didn’t just reach it, we smashed it!
Why is this award so important?
The Platinum Award is the highest level awarded to CaSSOA sites and demonstrates superior levels of security including BSI standard protection, external monitoring systems, asset tagging and full CCTV coverage. Storing at our platinum-accredited facility, therefore, grants a discounted insurance premium of up to 20%!
What makes our site secure?
We have 24/7 security-controlled access. If your name is not down, you’re not coming in!
All our customers are given a fob to scan onto the site and their own unique ID card which will hold crucial information such as the owner’s name, photograph, and chassis details, this is supported by a corresponding sticker in the vehicle which must match the ID card, this two-tier verification serves as an added layer of protection. A physical check is done to ensure only you can take the caravan off-site.
We have a designated CCTV room which is as impressive as you will see, someone is sitting watching the cameras 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Even on Christmas Day!
One of our 7 patrol dogs can be seen regularly walking the site, these trained dogs are accompanied by fully trained dog handlers. A great deterrent for any opportunists.
Perimeter beams, a full perimeter fence and an active caravan community which all look out for each other. Customers are welcome to join our Caravan and Motorhome Facebook group which has become an active community in its own right. In this group we notify customers when we have Calor deliveries (another perk of being a customer), we post our weekly inspections which are particularly welcomed and reassuring during the harsh winter months, and customers post items for sale or report any issues. This makes us accountable, we don’t shy away from our responsibilities.
As well as our top-notch security provision, we have an extremely organised team who ensure customers are managed efficiently and professionally. We’ll ensure a full tour of the site is provided upon sign-up (or at a time that is convenient for you), showing you all the facilities. If you misplace your ID card, we’ll ensure a replacement is arranged promptly (if the security checks are passed of course). Sharon (aka the caravan queen) has been serving customers for 30 years, what she doesn’t know about caravans is not worth knowing.
We have great wash facilities, free Air and Vacuum machines, contactless jet washes, a designated service area and a grey and foul water drop-off.
On top of this, our prices are extremely competitive, far cheaper than other facilities with far less service and security provision. Value for money, that’s us!
