We are thrilled to announce that blue self storage, Space2B at The Maltings, and Techsol will be joining forces to support a truly worthy cause in 2023 – the Sir Gareth Edwards Cancer Charity. This amazing organization is dedicated to helping young people aged 15 – 35 in Wales who are going through treatment for cancer.
We understand that a cancer diagnosis can be a difficult and overwhelming time, and that’s why we want to do our part to make it a little bit easier for those affected. The charity offers financial help to those struggling to pay the costs incurred by a cancer diagnosis, and we are committed to doing our part to raise the profile of young people in Wales who are going through such a difficult time.
Each business has committed to a minimum monthly donation of £250 per month, but we’re not stopping there. We’re aiming to smash this figure by working tirelessly throughout the year through a variety of fundraising events such as quizzes, coffee mornings, raffles, donation boxes on our receptions, Q&A events with Sir Gareth, and many more.
We’ve got a fun-packed fundraising schedule planned for the year, and we’re kicking things off with a quiz night at Space2B at The Maltings on Friday, 3rd of March. We’re on the lookout for teams of 6 and we’ll be entering a team ourselves – so watch out, we’re very competitive! If any businesses or individuals wish to attend, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
But wait, there’s more! We’re also planning a Q&A and auction event with none other than Sir Gareth Edwards himself. This is your chance to snap a photo with arguably the greatest ever rugby player, or even bid on a signed rugby ball! And of course, money boxes will be placed in our reception for customers to donate throughout the year.
