We’re very pleased to announce the arrival of our safe, digital and contactless entry & exit system using unique QR codes.
Our customers’ security is a priority, and our QR code system means you can stay digitally (and physically!) safe.
Not only that, but this new system is virtually ‘hands free’ – removing common touch-points is really important right now, and will likely be important in the future too, so we’re working hard to ensure our customers’ safety.
How does it work?
Newly implemented at our Llanishen storage facility, customers can now take advantage of super safe and speedy access.
We’ve made an easy-peasy video to show you the four steps of using our new QR code system when you first book a storage unit…
Step 1: Book your storage unit by emailing info@blueselfstorage.co.uk or calling 02920 361 361. Your unique ‘storage pass’ will be emailed to you, containing your QR code and a 4-digit code for your key lockbox.
Pssst… You can save the QR code as a photo on your phone, but it’ll also be on your unit’s keyring.
Step 2: Hold your QR code up to our reader when you visit the site.
Step 3: Enter your 4-digit code into your unit’s lockbox to release your keys! Your keys will also have your QR code on them. (Remember – when you leave the facility, take your keys with you. Don’t leave them in your lockbox.)
Step 4: Unlock and open your storage unit…
