Our friendly team of Storage Coordinators, Accounts Experts and Security Staff are here to help with any storage-related enquiries.
You can reach us through email or over the phone – or you can even pop in and see us, face-to-face! The team are based at our Wentloog HQ, where they oversee all our UK storage locations.

Is your Maltings site open 24/7?
What security do you have at Maltings?
Outside of the operational hours, the site has 24/7 on-site security which is supported by our Wentloog Security team including patrol dogs & CCTV monitoring. All guards are SIA (Security Industry Authority) certified and qualified dog handlers with NASDU (National Association of Security Dog Users) certificates.
How do I sign up at your Maltings facility?
It’s nice and easy! Give us a ring, pop us an email or visit us in the office and we can discuss your storage needs.
Can anyone else access my Maltings unit?
Only people whom you share your access details can access your unit. Every customer will be provided unique access codes and entry details. If you wish to share these with friends / family / employees then that is up to you, you are responsible for their conduct. If you wish to change the access codes, then we can assist.
Can I get contents cover for my unit or unit’s belongings?
Of course you can! Contents cover starts at £4 per month, covering up to £1000, and all prices include IPT (Insurance Premium Tax). For cover exceeding £25,000 in value, please contact us for a bespoke quote.
Do your Maltings units have electricity inside?
The units will come with light but due to health & safety and insurance implications, we must restrict electricity for other use.
How do you take payments?
For all storage types, we take initial signup payments from your card (whether that’s over the phone or using our online booking system), and then your monthly or quarterly charge will be paid by direct debit.
What notice period do I need to give?
We ask if you giver us 2 weeks (14days) notice.
Giving notice to vacate is simple; you can either email Info@blueselfstorage.co.uk or call our office on 029 20 361 361.
What happens when my contract ends?
After giving notice to vacate, you will receive instructions on what to do next.
We ask that you sweep clean your room and leave the lock and key inside. You must inform us when the room is empty by emailing Info@blueselfstorage.co.uk or by phone at 029 20 361 361
If you leave before the notice is up, we will refund you pro rata for the days remaining, via Direct debit (which typically takes 10-14 days)
