Our Llanishen storage facility is located on Ty Glas Road in Cardiff, close to Llanishen village and just a short drive from the A470.
Once you arrive on Ty Glas Road, follow signs for the local business units and you’ll find our facility clearly signposted.

Sign up using our online booking system, pick Llanishen as your location & secure your unit in just a few clicks. You’ll be sent an access code and you can start using your unit instantly!

For all storage types, we take initial signup payments from your card, and then your monthly or quarterly charge will be paid by direct debit.

How often can I access my unit?
Our Llanishen site is open 24/7, 365 days a year! Even when our office is closed, the site is open so you can access your unit and store things whenever you need to – including Christmas day.
Can anyone else access my Llanishen unit?
No. Using your unique QR access code and 4 digit pin, you’re the only person who can access your Llanishen storage unit.
Do your Llanishen units have electricity inside?
For safety and energy-saving reasons, our units don’t have electricity inside. However, if you visit after dark, our site is well lit for easy access.
Can I get contents cover for my unit or unit’s belongings?
Yes, of course. Our Contents cover starts at £4 per month for £1000 cover and all prices are inclusive of IPT (Insurance Premium Tax). For cover exceeding a value of £25,000, please get in touch for a personalised quote.Of course you can! Contents cover starts at £8 per month, covering up to £1000, and all prices include IPT (Insurance Premium Tax). For cover exceeding £25,000 in value, please contact us for a bespoke quote.
What notice period do I need to give?
For container self-storage, we only require 2 weeks (14days) notice.
Giving notice to vacate is simple; you can either email Info@blueselfstorage.co.uk, call our office on 029 20 361 361 or this fill in this form.
What happens when my contract ends?
After giving notice to vacate, you will receive instructions on what to do next.
We ask that you sweep clean your unit and leave the lock and key inside. You must inform us when the unit is empty by emailing Info@blueselfstorage.co.uk or by phone at 029 20 361 361
If you leave before the notice is up, we will refund you pro rata for the days remaining, via Direct debit (which typically takes 10-14 days)
