Meet 2wish, the winner of our 12 months free storage giveaway.
2wish is charity based in South Wales that support people affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young adult (aged 25 or under).
2wish was founded by Rhian Mannings when in February 2012 the unimaginable happened. Her youngest son George died suddenly, aged just over one and five days later, she lost her husband Paul. The shock of having no formal support after George’s death pushed Rhian to act.
She started 2wish from her kitchen table, with the mission that no family should face child loss alone.
Rhian’s personal loss became the fuel behind a mission: make sure others aren’t left alone in the dark. Over time, 2wish evolved from a small support idea to a vital charity serving families, professionals, hospitals, police, and communities across Wales and England.
2wish was nominated and won 12 months’ free storage at our Treforest site. The space has been a game-changer. It has given them a secure, central base just 10 minutes from their office with 24/7 access.
We had the pleasure of visiting the 2wish headquarters in Pontyclun, where we caught up with their Regional Fundraiser for Devon & Cornwall, Libby. We met the inspiring team and viewed their beautiful star wall, which holds approximately 2,000 individual stars, each bearing the name of a young life suddenly lost.
During our visit, we saw only a glimpse of the impact that 2wish makes. Through fundraising and donations, 2wish are able to create a difference in the lives of people who have been affected by losing a loved one. From family rooms in hospitals to memory boxes and emotional support, 2wish truly means anyone when it comes to support. There’s no time limit on grief and 2wish ensures that they are always there.

2wish’s most recent campaign is their Star Appeal.
The Star Appeal is to remember young lives lost too soon. Supporters can donate or order a personalised ornament in memory of a child or young person. Each ornament carries a name, creating a lasting tribute during the festive season.
All donations from the Star Appeal go directly towards 2wish’s bereavement services, including counselling, play therapy, complementary therapies, and sibling support. The appeal offers families a way to remember and act, turning love and loss into meaningful support for others facing the same heartbreak.
