The blue team headed back out but in Treforest.
We were armed with litter pickers, gloves and some very bright red bin bags. We were joined by others within the community too with one mission in mind. Tidy up the streets nearby and give the area a little extra care.
Nothing fancy. Just showing up and getting stuck in.
Not Just About Rubbish
Of course, we were proud of how much we collected. Those red bags filled up quickly, and seeing them lined up at the end was strangely satisfying. Clear streets, cleaner pavements, less litter blowing around. Job well done.
But this was never just about rubbish.
It was about being part of Treforest, not just based in it.
Our customers drive these roads. Local businesses operate here. People walk past our site every day. If we care about providing clean, secure and welcoming storage, it only makes sense that we care about the surrounding area too.
It is about leading with care. That is what we are all about.
The Dream Team Strikes Again
High vis vests on. Gloves at the ready. Litter pickers in hand. The team spread out and got to work.
There were plenty of laughs along the way, a bit of friendly competition over who had the fullest bag, and maybe one or two team members who were slightly too enthusiastic about wielding a litter picker.
By the end, we had made a visible difference. The streets around our Treforest site looked fresher, cleaner and more cared for. And honestly, that feels good.
Why We Do It
At blue self storage, we talk a lot about creating space. Space in your home. Space in your business. Space to breathe.
Looking after our local area is just another way of creating better space. A cleaner environment. A more welcoming first impression. A community we are proud to be part of.
Because storage is not just about units and padlocks. It is about people.
See You Next Time
This will not be the last time you see us out and about with gloves and bags. If you gave us a wave, stopped for a chat or joined in, thank you.
Treforest, we are proud to be here. And we will keep doing our bit to make sure it looks as good as it deserves to.
One red bag at a time.
