Are you ready to vacate?
So… the time has come. You’re vacating. Leaving us. Spreading your wings. We’re not crying…you are…
Before you disappear into the sunset (or just down the road with a van full of boxes), here’s exactly how to let us know you’re vacating your unit. No faff, no confusion, just straight answers.
Step 1: Give Us a Heads Up
We just need a bit of notice before you move out. Nothing dramatic, just enough time so we can get everything sorted our end.
The earlier you tell us, the smoother it all goes. Last minute surprises? Not ideal for anyone.
We require 14 days notice period for units and 1 month for caravans, boats, motorhomes and vehicles.
Step 2: Tell Us You’re Leaving
You’ve got options here, we’re flexible like that.
You can:
- Give us a call
- Drop us an email
- Fill out this form
Whatever works for you, just make sure you clearly tell us your move-out date so we can lock it in.
Step 3: Empty Your Unit
We know it sounds obvious… but you’d be surprised.
Make sure:
- Everything is out
- Your lock is removed
- You haven’t left behind that one random box you forgot existed
If it’s in the unit, it’s still yours. So take it all with you.
Step 4: Don’t Cancel Your Direct Debit Just Yet
We know the temptation. You’re leaving, so you want to cut everything off straight away.
But hold fire. This is how we refund your deposit.
Cancelling your direct debit too early can cause more hassle than it solves. Wait until:
- You’ve moved out
- We’ve confirmed everything is closed
Then you’re good to go. This is how we refund your deposit.
Step 5: That’s It, You’re Done
Once your unit’s empty and we’ve got everything confirmed, you’re officially checked out.
No drama. No awkward back and forth. Just a clean, simple exit.
